To Our Valued Customers,
At Total Office Plus we care deeply about our staff, customers and community. As a result, we are taking proactive measures to follow recommended containment guidelines for the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19). These protective measures include:
- Increased awareness about and communication to staff about COVID-19
- Increased cleaning of frequently touched surfaces
- Use of handwashing facilities and placement of hand sanitizing wipes in prominent locations throughout the workplace
Our drivers and delivery staff, shipping and receiving department admin area and front counter staff who come into direct contact with customers are doing the following:
- All staff are provided with disposable gloves to be used at all times when processing orders or working with customers.
- Delivery vehicles, stationery, clipboards and any items that will come into contact with our drivers and customers will be sanitized after each delivery or point of contact.
- We will be practicing periodic sanitizing throughout the work day of all work surfaces, keyboards and mice, phones, washrooms, workstations, etc.
One of the ways to avoid rapid spread is to practice social distancing. During this period of heightened concern, we are doing the following:
- We have recommended that our staff avoid handshakes, hugs and maintain the recommended social distance
- When possible, we are using more virtual/remote meetings, video conferencing, teleconferencing, telephone calls and/or email with customers
- We are limiting face-to-face meetings with external parties and limiting our employee’s attendance at external meetings, conferences etc.
As a result of these measures, our sales representatives will be reaching out to you by phone more than usual to ensure that we continue to provide the best service. We are also working with our suppliers to fulfill orders for products in short supply to avoid business disruptions for our valued customers.
